5 Week Meditation Course
New program beginning in the Spring
Week 1 Introduction to Meditation, Week 2 Meditation and the breath, Week 3 Meditation and the body, Week 4 Meditation and the mind, Week 5 Bringing it all together.
During this 5 week course Vanessa will be guide you through simple, accessible techniques that develop your capacity to manage thoughts, feelings and physical sensation more constructively. The course encourages you to develop the capacity to be in the present moment more often, exploring the breath, the body, thoughts and feeling tones as vehicles to gently return to the present moment. The aim is to improve mental health and reduce states of anxiety and overwhelm by cultivating sustainable stability in the mind. The course is exepriential and not lecture driven.
The group will be small and supportive, will meet week on week to build skills and integrate shared experience. If you have wondered about meditation and have the desire to cultivate a meditation practice, come along.
Vanessa holds an MA is Mindfulness based Psychotherapeutic Practice, is a Psychotherapist and bodyworker and has had the privilege of receiving direct teachings and meditation training from Eastern and Western teachers and has been practising meditation for 18+ years.
