PRANAYAMA (Sanskrit: प्राणायाम prāṇāyām) is a sanskrit word meaning ‘extension of the pran or breath’ or, ‘extension of the life force’.
PRANA = life force, particularly the breath
AYAM = to extend or draw out
Breathing is the essence of Yoga.
Mindful breathing regulates the nervous system, promotes clarity of mind and unleashes our inherent creativity, our pure potential.
When we breath more fully we create an inner spaciousness, we are nourished and bright. We are coursing with prana, sparkling and alive.
